Western TanzaniaWestern Tanzania is an excellent general bag area. The country is part savannah with rolling hills to woodlands. Other portions are floodplain and swampland. A truly diverse area. Historically, the finest Lions are from western Tanzania, with our camps being a leader in quality Lions and plains game. These areas have a large number of superb trophies such as Leopard, Sable, Buffalo, East Africa Eland, Roan, Southern Impala, Liechtenstein Hartebeest, Hippo, Warthog, Bushbuck, Sitatunga, Crocodile, Topi and Hyena. |
MasailandThere are two great blocks available .... In the Rift Valley, bordering Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, is an excellent area for Lesser Kudu, Southern Gerenuk, Thompson and Grants Gazelle, Fringe-Eared Oryx, Leopard, Steinbuck, East African Impala, Masai Bushbuck, Cokes Hartebeest, Klipspringer, Bohor Reedbuck, Ostrich, Kirks Dik-Dik, East African Eland, Common Waterbuck, White-Bearded Wildebeest, Hyena, Zebra, and Warthog. Buffalo migrate through this area as well.
The area bordering Kenya and the Amboseli National Park is excellent for Lesser Kudu, Leopard, Southern Gerenuk, Fringe-Eared Oryx, Grants Gazelle, East African Eland, East African Impala, Ostrich, Steinbuck, Bohor Reedbuck, Masai Bushbuck, Hyena, Kirks Dik-Dik, White-Bearded Wildebeest, Zebra, East African Bush Duiker, and Warthog. Buffalo are found in the mountains above the camp.

SelousWe have two hunting areas, depending on your hunting goals. On the Luwego River is an excellent general bag area. The area is Miombo woodlands with large open areas. The Selous has large populations of Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, East African Greater Kudu, Hippo, Nyasa Wildebeest, Southern Bushbuck, Zebra, Bushpig, East African Bush Duiker, Southern Impala, Hyena, Common Reedbuck, Common Waterbuck, Roosevelt Sable, Warthog, East African Eland and Lichtenstein Hartebeest.
Bordering the southwest of the Selous National Park is an area we use primarily for big Elephant and Buffalo. This block has been managed for quality Elephant hunting for the past few years and holds some of Tanzania's largest Buffalo. It is an area of mountain forest, valleys and sand rivers. Other abundant species include: Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Southern Impala, Greater Kudu, Common Reedbuck, East African Eland, Southern Bushbuck, Roosevelt Sable, Zebra, East African Bush Duiker, Warthog, and Bushpig.
